COVID-19 update

[Updated 19 & 28 February and 1 March 2020.]

Due to the recent COVID-19 situation and the government advisory to limit the size of group gatherings, registration for this class is limited to 30 participants only. Registration for this class will close when we have reached the class size limit of 30.

Registrations are now being treated on a first-come-first-serve basis. As of 28 February, confirmed registrations are approaching the maximum class capacity, although we have a handful of places remaining. If you would like to take the course, please register now.

Due to the new class size limit, we regret that we are no longer able to offer a free taster option or alumni registration for this course.

If you have previously registered (before 19 Feb 2020), we have now emailed you with the latest updates. If you have not received our email, please contact us (info at PerspectivesSingapore dot org).

Course books

Course participants are required to read material contained in the 4th edition of the Perspectives Study Guide and the Perspectives Reader. These books can be purchased in two different formats:

  1. Ebook (recommended). The Perspectives on the World Christian Movement – Combined Ebook is available for US$30 directly from the publisher: https://missionbooks.org/products/perspectives-on-the-world-christian-movement-combined-ebook. This Combined Ebook version contains both the Study Guide and the Reader. It is available in both Epub and Kindle formats. The publisher has kindly issued us with a discount code for class participants. The discount code will be made available to participants before the first class. (Note: We strongly recommend buying directly from the publisher after you have received the discount code from us. The correct version of the ebook is not available via Amazon’s Kindle store.)
  2. Physical books (for those who prefer physical books). Course participants can purchase the 4th Edition of the Study Guide and Reader from us for S$60.

Please note that the course books are not included in the course fee.

Free taster option and payment

Participants can treat the first two lessons as free taster lessons, with no commitment. Payment is not required until after the second week of the course.

However, if you know you would like to commit to the course, then we encourage you to pay at the start. Paying at the start provides two advantages for you:

  1. You can secure your place on the course (in case the course becomes oversubscribed due to limited room capacity); and
  2. You can collect your course books during the first lesson (if you wish to purchase the physical books from us).

When you register, please indicate whether you would like to commit to the course and pay at the start, or whether you would like to treat the first two lessons as free tasters.

Due to the new class size limitation, we are no longer able to offer the free taster option.

In order to ensure that the 30 available places are used, we require registrants to commit to paying for and attending the course if their registration is confirmed by us.

Payment information will be emailed to registered participants before the course commences.
